Beyond Academics-The Whole Child
While I'm here to help with homework, exam prep, and subject mastery, what I'm really passionate about is helping young people become confident, capable, resilient individuals. In my years of teaching, I've learned that the most important lessons often happen in the margins—when a student struggles with a problem and learns perseverance, when they make a mistake and discover it's okay, when they realize they're capable of more than they thought.
Here's what we work on together:
Resilience – Learning to bounce back from setbacks
Critical thinking – Not just what to think, but how to think
Problem-solving – Real-world skills that apply everywhere
Self-advocacy – Finding your voice and asking for what you need
Emotional intelligence – Understanding yourself and others
Growth mindset – Believing you can improve and grow
Life skills – The practical stuff schools don't always teach

Academic success is wonderful, and we celebrate every improved grade and conquered concept. But I measure success in other ways too: Does the student feel more confident? Are they asking better questions? Are they developing a love of learning? Are they growing into the person they want to be? That's the real work.
